King James Power New Testament New International Version

41.  And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's son? 42.  And David himself sayeth in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 43. Til I make thine enemies thy foot stool.  44.  David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?

41. Then He said to them, "How do they say the Messiah is a son of David? 42. For David himself says in a scroll of Psalms, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, You must be seated at My right hand, 43. until I would make Your enemies a footstool under Your feet.’ (Ps 110:1) 44. So David calls Him Lord, then how is He his son?"

41. Then Jesus said to them, "How is it that they say the Christa is the Son of David?  42. David himself declares in the Book of Psalms:

'The Lord said to my Lord:
Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.'b

David calls him 'Lord.' How then can he be his son?"
