King James Power New Testament New International Version
21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven.

22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

21. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord.  Lord!’  will enter the kingdom of the heavens,  but the one  who does the will of My Father, the One in the heavens.  22. Many will say to Me in that Day, ‘Lord.  Lord!  Did we
not prophesy in Your name?  And we cast out demons in Your name, and we did many miracles in Your name?’  23. And then I will declare to them that ‘I never knew you: you working without Torah  must continually depart from Me.’”

21. "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  22. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'  23. Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you.  Away from me, you evildoers!'

Footnotes from the Power New Testament:

(v.21) This is a desperate call, to be sure of getting the Lord’s attention.  See Double Name in Glossary.

(v.21) Heavens is plural because in the Hebrew Scriptures seven levels of heaven are identified.  See Heavens in Glossary.

(v.23) Without Torah means to fail to do the things taught in the Torah, the first five books of the Bible.
